COVID-19 POLICIES
Masks are required regardless of vaccination status
If you or a household member has been diagnosed with COVID-19, awaiting test results, have any symptoms (even as slight as a tickle in your throat), please reschedule your appointment.

NATURAL LASHES COME FIRST
A client's natural lash integrity will be the top priority here at BJoy Beauty. As professionals, we will only apply extensions that are the appropriate length and weight for your natural lashes. Our lash artists specialize in short lengths and dense lash lines! Not only is it suiting for all lashes and eyes, but it is also very safe for the natural lash.
DEPOSITS
A non-refundable deposit and a valid credit card are required to book your appointment. Your credit card will not be charged at the time of booking but will be held in place for any inconvenience and cancellation fees. This deposit goes toward the balance of your upcoming service and the difference may be accepted in cash, card, Venmo, or PayPal.
CANCELLING AND RESCHEDULING
We understand life happens! Please make any cancellations and rescheduling 48 hours in advance to your scheduled appointment. For example, if you have an appointment scheduled for Friday, you have up to Wednesday to cancel/reschedule.
NO SHOWS ARE A NO-NO
Any client who does not send a courtesy text or call within 15 minutes after their scheduled appointment time is considered a NO SHOW. The card on file will be charged 100% of the service booked. No exceptions. Opportunities for any future bookings will be banned.
RUNNING LATE?
Please send a courtesy text or call with your estimated time of arrival. Any clients arriving after 10-20 min may or may not have their appointment accommodated depending on the service booked. The desired fullness/lash style is not guaranteed for any late clients due to limited lashing time. Client is still responsible for paying the full amount of the service.
IF YOU HAVE A COLD...
Please reach out via text or email to reschedule your appointment if you are coming down with a cold or feeling under the weather. If the lash artist gets sick, no one gets lashes! Please be kind to your artist.
LASH EXTENSIONS DO NOT STICK TO DIRTY LASHES!
Please arrive to your appointment (fill or a new set) with NO EYE MAKEUP AND CLEAN EYES. Light (powdered only) face makeup is okay, eye makeup is a no no. Please avoid putting any product and eye creams around the eye area. If you were an avid strip lash user, be sure all strip eyelash glue is completely removed. Any residue will effect lash extension retention. You will be asked to wash your eyes if you arrive with anything but clean eyes.
CONTACT LENSES
Please remove any contact lenses prior to your appointment. You're more than welcome to remove them prior to your appointment and pop them back in once we're done.
TOUCH UPS
Touch ups should be every 14-21 days depending on your lash cycle. Lash extensions should be at a 40% retention in order for it to be a touch up.
FOREIGN WORK
We do not work over other lash artists' work here at BJoy Beauty. Please understand that every artist is different and may use different products and application techniques that we may not use or do. We will be happy to preform a complimentary removal and apply a new set to start fresh.
LESS CHAT, MORE LASHING
We love building relationships (aka re-lashing-ships) with each and every client. We just ask to please refrain from any facial movements, hand movements, animated talking, any caffeinated beverages, gum, and phone calls or texts during your appointment. Asking your lash artist to reply to every text you receive will take up a lot of your precious lashing time! Putting your phone on silent or "do not disturb" will be highly appreciated!
All of the above can cause excessive eye movements, blinking, fluttery eyes, or small movements which will allow any fumes from the adhesive to enter the eye. You are encouraged to pop in a pair of headphones and take this time to unwind the mind.
GUESTS
The only thing you need to bring is you and your lashes. Please avoid bringing any guests--big, small, or furry! Please be mindful that all services at BJoy Beauty are lengthy. Enjoy this time for yourself!
REFUNDS + FIXES
Unfortunately, there are no refunds! If you experience any drastic issues within 48hrs of your appointment, please contact your artist.
AFTERCARE
Aftercare is an extremely crucial part of maintaining your new beauty investment. All aftercare instructions listed for you on this website. Every new client is sent home with a complimentary aftercare kit!

LOCATION + PARKING
We are a located in Redwood Building in Castro Valley, CA. Please text your lash artist of your arrival and you will be instructed when to come in.
